Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
The cash out should’ve been £350k like Rossal said, but bookies always sting you on a cash out, so you should never cash out in theory......

Other option to was to back all the other runners to ensure a £500k return, but that would’ve cost £190k, to make a £310 k return, so looks like he’s done the right thing.

Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
The bloke is a professional punter i think. He must have alot of knowledge to pick out those nags starting last year. Picked Bob Olinger at 25s!!!

I think its hard to turn down that sort of cash.....but do think Betfair will be happy he has cashed. For me the cashout should of been 350k+ looking at the price of Envoi Allen

But as someone else said would you punt 275k on Envoi Allen to win it later, probably not

Cash out, don't watch the race and create your own reality where it unseats with two races to go and lie constantly to yourself until it becomes your truth.

Grumpster 11:48 Thu Mar 18
Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
It's a £5 bet which tells me he's probably not rolling in dough and I reckon I would have done the same, even though envoi looks a banker.

We all though Annie was a banker a few years ago when she fell at the last shafting all out of trebles.

Life changing amount of wedge really, can clear a mortgage with that.

Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
Why be greedy when you've had it off anyway. He may also have a wife/missus putting some pressure on.

Back in the day he wouldn't have had the cash out option, right? How long that been around for now roughly?

Lee Trundle 11:34 Thu Mar 18
Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
Yeah, it's easy to sit here and say let it continue as it's the red hot favourite, but I think I would have cashed out also.

Manuel 11:29 Thu Mar 18
Re: Cheltenham Naps - Picks
Trunds - I was wondering if he would. I think he has done the right thing, assume he is a normal fella where the 300k is life changing for him. The last horse will likely win but always a risk over the jumps of course.

That punter who stood to win £500k had Envoi Allen won today, has just cashed out for £300k.
